13 new toll plazas will be built in Punjab

Delhi Amritsar Katra Expressway is being constructed under the Bharatmala project. This project of 35 thousand crores will connect the three states of Delhi, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. Lakhs of people will benefit from this expressway.

21 new tolls will also be constructed on this expressway. For which lands have been acquired. At what place, how big toll plaza will be built, its drawings and DPR are being prepared.

Out of these 21 toll plazas, 8 toll plazas will be built between Delhi and Haryana and 13 toll plazas in 261 km will be built in Punjab. This will definitely make the trip more expensive, but people’s time will definitely be saved.

2400 rupees for up and down payment for 727 kilometers

Devotees going to visit Maa Vaishno Devi have to pay a toll of 1200 rupees from Delhi to Katra, i.e. there is an additional burden of 2400 rupees up and down. But due to the narrowness of the road, it is taking time and causing trouble.

That’s why 2400 rupees is too much for people. But according to NHAI, when the expressway is fully completed, it will take less money. Because the vehicle will not have to brake for many kilometers.

Now toll plazas are built at these places only

At present, toll plazas have been constructed at Jharothi in Kharkhouda, Murthal in Sonepat, Panipat, Gharunda in Karnal, Chaulang in Punjab, Harsa Mansar, Ban, Ladowal, Shambhu Ghaggar, Lakhanpur Rajbagh, Thandikui. If you go from Delhi via KMAP-Amritsar-Katra Expressway, then this toll may cost around 900 to 1000, that is, the toll plaza fee is likely to be less.

Delhi-Amritsar journey will be completed in 4 hours

Let us tell you that this expressway is being built from Bahadurgarh Delhi to Katra Jammu. It is being claimed that after the construction of this expressway, the journey from Delhi to Amritsar will be completed in four hours. It will take two hours from Amritsar to reach Katra. Earlier it takes less than 12 hours to reach Katra from Delhi.

There will be 21 new entry and exit points

The Delhi Amritsar Katra Expressway is being designed on the lines of the Western Peripheral Expressway (KMP). There will be 21 new entry and exit points on the newly constructed expressway. From where drivers will be given a way to exit and enter the city. This will not disrupt the traffic in any way and there is no chance of an accident.

The vehicle will get a slip at the entry point

If someone gets on the highway in a wrong way, he will be challaned. The special thing is that to eliminate the toll system, the vehicle will be given a slip at the entry point of the expressway and the toll fee will be charged from it at the exit point. This project is currently being discussed.
