The schedule of the first 17 days of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has been announced so far. According to this, the Punjab Kings (PBKS) team, which is still looking for its first title, will start its campaign against the Delhi Capitals (DC) on Saturday i.e. March 23 in the new stadium built at its home. So far only the schedule of the first 4 matches of the team has been announced. Out of these 4 matches, the team will play only one match at home, while the remaining three matches will be played at different places.
After taking on Delhi, they are scheduled to take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at home in their second match. After this, the team’s convoy will reach Lucknow, where the host Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will be waiting for it. After this, Punjab will reach Gujarat, where Gujarat Titans (GT) captained by Shubman Gill will play two hands with it.

At present, in view of the Lok Sabha elections, the governing council of IPL had announced the schedule till April 7 after talking to BCCI. Now that the Election Commission of India (ECI) has recently announced the dates of Lok Sabha elections across the country, the rest of the schedule of this league will also be announced in sync with those dates.
Before 2014, whenever the Lok Sabha elections were held in the country (every 5 years), the IPL was held abroad. In 2009, this league was played in South Africa, while in 2014, it was held in India and UAE. But since the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, this league is being organized in its own country in coordination with the election dates.
